ROUNDTABLE MISSION
By 2012, a model will have been established for efficiently and effectively developing shared services between the School District, Town of Victor government, community organizations and businesses through the creation of a strong partnership alliance.
The original goals of the Roundtable were:
o To encourage preservation of natural and historic resources;
o To promote recreational use of the resources;
o To provide continuous educational programs relating to local and regional heritage;
o To enhance economic revitalization through public and private investment.
How the Roundtable has evolved:
o A forum to announce upcoming events of organizations which are in attendance.
The Roundtable in the future may be:
o Personal networking opportunities to brainstorm collaboration by recruiting participants and/or to establish partnerships;
o To have an electronic document (Community Calendar) disseminate more inclusive information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with links to individual organization’s websites;
o To have an updated register of community organizations.
