| Description: | Victor Green Team Mission...
To reduce our impact on the environment by transforming Victor into a 'Green Community.'
We will do this by creating an Action Plan for reducing our energy consumption, protecting our natural resources and wildlife, and ensuring the health and safety of our residents.
We will ask Victor residents, businesses, and institutions to do the same and we will provide education and resources needed to make their efforts successful.
We will go beyond basic legal requirements and make the Town a leader in environmental stewardship for the sake of our children's future, and the quality of life in Victor.
Victor Green Team Goals...
1. Support the Town in meeting the objectives of the Green Initiative Mission Statement.
2. Support the Town in meeting the goals of the ICLEI, Local Governments for Sustainability Milestones for Climate Mitigation:
ICLEI's Five Milestones for Climate Mitigation
3. Support the Town in ensuring a Comprehensive Plan and Strategic Plan that are sustainable throughout.
4. Educate the community on ways we can reduce our carbon footprint.
