The Office of Fire Marshal serves as a specialized unit within the Codes & Development Department focusing on all matters of fire safety. To achieve this, the Fire Marshal conducts periodic fire inspections of all commercial buildings, assists the building Inspectors with plan review, and aids emergency responnders with on scene support.
