TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE
The Town Clerk’s office is the public relations center of the Town’s municipal government. Questions on all aspects of the community can be directed here. The Office of the Town Clerk is located on the 1st floor of the Town Hall, 85 East Main Street.
Debra Denz and her deputies, Renee McConnell, Roxann Ammerman, and Kimberly Heuer are available to help you Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The office is also open Wednesday evenings until 7 PM.

The Town Clerk is:
RECORDING SECRETARY
Author of the official minutes, which are retained permanently for legal and historic purposes. The official minutes are the record of actions of the Town Board.

RECORDS MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Custodian of all Town Records. Responsible for the active files, storage and disposition of inactive records, and the careful maintenance of archival material. Administrator of all Freedom of Information (FOIL) requests. Accessible records are available for inspection during regular business hours. The Town Clerk is also responsible for maintaining the public signboard, advertising and receiving bids and editing the newsletter.
FILING OFFICER
Duties include maintaining the records of adopted local laws, oaths of office, resignations, petitions, annual budgets, assessment rolls, fiscal reports, notices of lien, court actions, bond and note registers and the official zoning maps.
LICENSING OFFICER
Issues licenses and permits for:
DEC - Hunting & Fishing -
- A fishing license is required for anyone sixteen (16) years of age or older.
- Proof of NYS residency (NYS Driver's License or non-driver ID).
- Hunters must show proof of hunter education certification.

Marriage Licensing Information -
- Both parties must sign in person before the Clerk.
- There is a 24-hour waiting period before a ceremony can be performed.
- License is good for 60 days.
- Proof of age and birth name - original birth certificate (birth affidavit, and delayed registration of birth) with raised seal including parent's names AND valid passports or valid drivers' licenses.
- All foreign documentation records must be accompanied by a certified translation from a certified translator. A certified translator can be found at a local university or the Consulate for the applicant's country.
- If previously married, proof of how each marriage ended - Judgement of Divorce or Annulment documents indicating when the documents were filed with the courts (usually a stamp that says "Filed" and the date), or a Death certificate.
- Fee of $40, payment by cash, check, or credit card.

Dog Licenses -
- Proof of current rabies vaccination.
- Proof from veterinarian of spaying or neutering to receive reduced license fee.
- Current license fee is $15.00 for spayed/neutered dog or $25.00 for unspayed/unneutered dog. A $5.00 discount is applied for senior citizens (age 60 or over).
Parking Permits -
You are eligible for a special parking permit if you are a Victor resident who has a disability that impairs your mobility. Bring in the completed application, by Physician, (see link below) and valid New York State drivers' license.

Recycling Center Permits -
STARTING JANUARY 4, 2011: ALL PERMITS/STICKERS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE HIGHWAY/RECYCLE OFFICE, 60 Rawson Road, Building "A," ONLY.
Interested in taking advantage of the Swap Shop? Make sure you have a Recycling Center permit. To obtain a Recycling Center permit please provide the following: Driver's license & vehicle registrations for the cars you will place the permits on. If your vehicle registration does not have your Victor address, please provide documentation that you are a Victor resident or property owner (such as closing papers, lease agreement, property tax bill or utility bill). Each household is allowed two Recycling Center permits.
A limited time permit may be obtained for new residents which will allow them to use the Center until their vehicle registration information is updated.

Boughton Park Permits -
To obtain a Boughton Park permit at the Town Clerk's Office please provide the following:
Driver's license & vehicle registrations for the cars you will place the permits on. If your vehicle registration does not have yourj Victor address, please provde documentation that you are a Victor resident or propejrty owner (such as closing papers, lease agreement, property tax bill or utility bill). Each household is allowed three Boughton Park permits.
Please remember your sticker must be visible or you may receive a ticket.

REGISTRAR OF VITAL RECORDS
Custodian of all birth, death, burial permits and marriage certificates occurring within the town as well as access to genealogical records. Keep in mind that these records are confidential and restrictions apply.
