Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department offers extensive senior programming ranging from exercise classes, golf leagues, and monthly luncheons to large coach tours and summer walking clubs that enjoy our own beautiful Victor walking trails and more. In addition, to that we have a number of informal groups enjoying fun games of euchre or pinochle and others. Meeting new people or enjoying a wonderful afternoon having lunch with longtime friends is always on the schedule. If you have any questions or would like to suggest a program or a trip location contact the department by calling (585) 742-0140.

AARP Tax-Aide
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides Federal and New York State income tax return preparation for those with low- to moderate-income especially those 60 and older.  It’s free, individualized and there are no strings attached.  Volunteers are needed to prepare these tax returns for Town of Victor residents and others.

Volunteers are trained on tax return preparation, are trained to use tax return software, are IRS-certified, are assigned an experienced mentor, and are eligible for mileage reimbursement.  Weekly during February – April, the volunteers and the tax clients meet at the Victor Town Hall.
