Ontario County Public Works Project

Bridge Replacement Project - Town of Victor
Main Street Fishers Road Bridge

Ontario County will be closing Main Street Fishers Road located in the Town of Victor beginning May 4, 2020. The road closure is required to allow our contractor to replace the bridge over Irondequoit Creek. The bridge is located just east of Old Dutch Road near the Monroe/Ontario County line. The road is scheduled to be reopened September 18, 2020. The posted detour will be County Road 42 (Wangum Road), NY Route 251 and Mile Square Road. A map depicting the project detour is enclosed.

The County will be notifying town officials, local schools, emergency service providers and the post office of this closing.  Portable message boards will be installed on both approaches to the bridge to inform the general public of the closure. Please contact me at 396-4282 should you have any questions.
