Swap Shop Reopening June 5, 2021

New Safety Protocols

  • Must be vaccinated to enter building without a mask
  • Please use hand sanitizing stations located at the entrance to the building
  • Please keep your visit to approximately 15 minutes
  • Please follow designated traffic pattern
  • No unloading or loading by Swap Shop volunteers. Please plan ahead and bring assistance if needed or post heavy or large items on the Swap Shop Facebook Group page.

  • Great resource for those residents who have no way to transport items to the Swap Shop

Town Swap Shop

Recycling through reuse keeps usable items out of the landfill. 

Swap Shop 2021 Season - June 5th to the end of October (dependent on the weather and volunteer availability)

The shop is located at the Town of Victor’s transfer station, located at 60 Rawson Road.

Swap Shop Hours for 2021

  • Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. AND 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Swap Shop relies on volunteers to keep the shop running.

Swap Shop Stickers Only

Open to all Victor residents with Transfer Station Permit OR Free Swap Shop Sticker during Swap Shop hours ONLY. Swap Shop stickers may be obtained at the Swap Shop or the Transfer Station office with proof of residency.

Swap Shop Goals

  • Give members of the community the opportunity to extend items’ useful life
  • To divert good usable items away from the waste stream conserving valuable landfill space and reducing town’s land filling costs

All Items Are Free To Victor Residents

  • The Swap Shop globally swaps items. Victor residents leave items and shop or Victor residents just shop.
  • Reusing, repurposing, recycling and exchanging treasures between residents
  • Moving, cleaning out your garage or attic? Great way to repurpose items and keep them out of the landfill
  • In tough economic times, a place to find FREE useable household items
  • Great resource for teachers, students, newlyweds, and new homeowners
  • Knowledgeable and imaginative volunteers, providing excellent customer service
  • Electrical items are checked, items dropped off are cleaned and inspected before they are placed on the shelf to assure items are useable
