Victor Community Connectivity Project

The Town of Victor received a $247,000 New York State Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration “Transportation Alternatives Program” grant for the design and construction of a (2,200) linear foot shared use path adjacent to Lane Road and (775) linear foot sidewalk on High Street near the Victor Central School District campus.

Fisher Associates Engineers of Rochester, New York were hired as the Towns’ consultant engineer on the project.  Right-of-Way acquisition and final design for the project was completed in (2017) and construction was authorized by New York State in the winter of (2018).  Construction will take place in the spring and summer of (2018).

This project will connect to the existing sidewalk system on the Victor School District campus as well as connect the neighborhoods of Quail Ridge and Quail Ridge Crossing to Taylor Rise and Canterbury Trail.  The project is being completed by a collaborative effort including the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Highway Department and the Village of Victor Department of Public Works.
