Dryer Road Park / Pump Track & Bike Park Project

COMPLETED

“The project that began in the spring and summer of 2018, was largely aided by the efforts of Genesee Regional Off-Road Cyclists (GROC) who obtained an additional $10,000 grant from REI to design and construct the “new” pump track and jump lines.

GROC retained the services of Jim Martinez a professional bike park designer to layout the pump track and complete the shaping over the course of three weeks. The earth moving, drainage, grading and fine shaping were completed on this project in 2018.

In the spring and summer of 2019, the Department of Parks and Recreation will be designing and installing new “How To” ride the pump track and jump line signage at the park as well as a sign to acknowledge the contributions of the volunteers at GROC who help us maintain these features and the park’s multi-use trail system.

In addition, the Department will be installing a dedicated waterline to the pump track in the fall of 2019 to support the ongoing maintenance efforts of the new track.”
