From Ontario County Public Health
This is a very common scenario in Ontario County. It can take 14 days to develop COVID symptoms. Remember, not everyone develops symptoms but can still spread COVID-19. Exposed residents (tested too soon) often have a false sense of security when they receive a negative test. They are often shocked when they develop symptoms. If you don't quarantine properly, YOU could spread COVID to others.
