Evening Hike at Bare Hill
On Saturday, August 31st, Victor Hiking Trails will lead a hike at Bare Hill Unique Area in Rushville, NY. There are 4 miles of moderate trails through woods, meadows and up the hill to the site of the bonfire. Comfortable hiking boots are recommended.
Bring a chair or blanket, insect repellant, something to drink and a snack or dinner. Check the forecast for rain or cool temps. Stay for the lighting of the bonfire at dusk followed by Native American singing and dancing.
Meet in the rear parking lot of Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, at 5:30 P.M. to carpool to the trailhead. Or meet at the parking lot, 5950 Van Epps Road, Rushville, NY 14544 at 6:30 P.M.

Victor Hiking Trails, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to helping folks get in touch with nature through the development, maintenance and use of trails, mainly in the Town of Victor. The VHT board of directors meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street. There is parking in the rear of the building and the public is always welcome.
