LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FISHERS FIRE DISTRICT 2020 BUDGET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2020 Proposed Budget of the Fishers Fire District of the Town of Victor, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fishers Fire District, for its consideration.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Fishers Fire District Station #2, located at 380 High Street, Victor, New York 14564, in the Town of Victor, State of New York on the 15th day of October, 2019.
Pursuant to Town Law Section 181.3(a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the 2020 proposed budget, make the 2020 proposed budget available to the public, prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning the same.
That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Victor at 85 East Main Street, Victor, New York 14564 and the Fishers Fire District Secretary at 380 High Street, Victor, New York 14564 where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) prevailing time. The 2020 proposed budget is also posted on the Fishers Fire District website at www.fishersfd.org.
The Fishers Fire District 2020 proposed budget will override the 2% cap and the Fishers Fire District will discuss this aspect of the 2020 proposed budget at the date and time set forth above.
