Re    Announcement of Online Portal for permits, parcel info, and payments

Starting today, residents and contractors can now utilize an online portal to submit and pay for building permits as well as access certain property information normally found by contacting the Planning & Building Department.

The link to this portal can be found at our website, www.victorny.org, on both the main page and the building permit forms and applications page. 

All online permit requests will still need to be accompanied with documentation, including application forms.  Decks, sheds, pools, roofs, generators, etc., plus commercial kiosks and move-in tenants, can submit all required documentation through the portal.  New homes, major renovations, and commercial build-outs will require plans submitted by hard copy.  The portal will provide detailed directions.

Applicants can check on status of permit approval and, when directed, pay online with a credit card or electronic check (fees apply).  Checks and cash will still be accepted in person or by mail. 

Residents and contractors can also check on the history of permits on file (for those permits issued after 2005) and the results of inspections.
