NOTICE OF ELECTION FOR ONE (1) FIRE DISTRICT COMMISSIONER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the undersigned that the 2020 Annual Election of Officers in the Fishers Fire District, comprising portions of the Town of Victor, Ontario County, New York, that was held on December 8, 2020 resulted in a tie between two candidates. An additional election will be held on the 19th day of January, 2021 to elect one (1) Fire Commissioner for a term of five (5) years (ending December 31, 2025), and such term is to commence on January 20, 2021. The Fire District Commissioner at the time of his/her election, must be a resident elector in the Fishers Fire District and during the term of his/her office.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that such election will be held at Fishers Fire House No. 2 located at 380 High Street in the Town of Victor, New York on the 19th day of January, 2021, from 3:00 o'clock p.m. until 9:00 o'clock p.m., prevailing time, during which time, the polls will remain open for the receipt of ballots. Each elector in the Town of Victor who shall have resided in the Fishers Fire District for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding January 19th, 2021, is qualified to vote at such election.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the following two candidates will be on the ballot for one (1) Fire Commissioner seat:
