[ARCHIVED] Bid Notice - Break of Day Road Culvert Repair

PROJECT NO. 208375.375, CONTRACT 1


Sealed Bids for the construction of the Break of Day Road Culvert Repair, will be received, by the Town of Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY 14564, until 3 P.M. local time on November 18, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read by the Town Clerk.

The Project consists of installing surge stone on the downstream end of the Break of Day Road culvert, installing cementitious grout underneath the culvert to fill existing voids, and spray lining the inside of the culvert with a polymer liner.  The project is at the intersection of Break of Day Road and East Victor Road, Victor, NY 14564. Separate Bids will be received for:

Contract No. 1 – General Construction; 

Bids shall be on a lump sum.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Town of Victor, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY 14564. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may not be obtained from the above location. 

The official Bidding Documents may be obtained from:

Avalon Document Services, Buckingham Commons, 89 Allen Street, Rochester, NY, 14608.

There may be a shipping charge associated with copies obtained from the above locations.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the above locations, upon payment of a deposit of the sum of $50.00. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Town of Victor. When requesting bid documents, prospective bidders shall provide their name, firm’s name, shipping address (no PO Box numbers), telephone number, email address, fax number (if any), name of the project for which they are requesting Bidding Documents, intended contract, amount of money enclosed, and if applicable, check numbers. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a refund.

Bidding Documents may be viewed online and ordered by registering with Avalon Document Services at Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be purchased and downloaded from the Avalon Document Services website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon receipt of payment, Avalon Document Services will send Bidding Documents to the prospective Bidder using the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by Avalon Document Services will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.

Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the above locations. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the above.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Prospective bidders should review the Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon Wage requirements included in the contract documents.
